Sides:
Cast iron is your friend this holiday, to create a selection of sumptuous sides. Spruce up your sprouts with chili and bacon, or nutmeg and butter. There’s maple-glazed carrots, pigs in blankets, and that all-important stuffing (which tastes 100 times better flame-cooked, trust us on this one!)
Pizzas:
Much like a Christmas jumper, you can get super creative with Christmas pizzas. It’s time to think outside the (pizza) box, and there’s no shortage of inspiration – we’ve got a cheeseboard pizza (yes, you read that right), pigs in blankets pizza, Christmas everything pizza, roast chestnut and stilton pizza (move over, Nat King Cole), apple, bacon, and cheddar pizza, a miracle on 34th st. pizza, and even a stuffed crust margherita star pizza!
Desserts:
The holidays mean sweet treats. Nothing beats a warm glass of mulled wine, but these sticky mulled wine rolls just might. There’s also a spicier, gingerbread version (if it’s too early to eat the gingerbread house). We’re not finished with mulled wine though – baked pears submerged in a sweet mulled glaze are something special with a scoop of ice cream. We’ve got a tangy-sweet apple and cranberry crumble, or a whisky-spiked pear galette to warm the cockles. (Which just so happens to be gluten-free and vegan too!)
That’s a big list of recipes, so there’s no excuse not to get a little creative this year. With colder, darker nights, there’s no better time to fire up your Ooni Pizza Oven and spread a little warmth and cheer. We wouldn’t recommend leaving any mince pies by the oven chimney though, it might be a little tight!

Happy holidays from team Ooni!
