Very good question! The Koda 2 range is a huge evolution from the previous generation of Ooni gas-powered ovens.

Let's start with the consistently delicious pizza you get from the Koda 2 Pro's G2 Gas Technology (which you can read about a bit lower down in the FAQ). The G2 Gas Technology offers extreme precision and control over a wide ambient temperature range – giving you a lot of freedom over what to cook.

It also features a larger, 18"+ stone than its predecessor, so you have more room to maneuver inside the oven.

The Koda 2 Pro comes with the Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub so you can stay connected.

Finally, because it's an Ooni oven, you know it can deliver up to 500 °C / 950 °F and cook a restaurant-quality pizza in as little as 60 seconds

Koda 2 Pro's advanced G2 Gas Technology™ features two innovative tapered flames that keep the pizza stone’s temperature consistent, reducing fluctuations by as much as 360 °F (180 °C) to just 110 °F (45 °C)*. The G2 System also eliminates hot and cold spots and heats the stone 25% faster** than older models, allowing you to cook 10 restaurant-quality pizzas up to 10 minutes quicker.

The Koda 2 range also has a wider ambient temperature range than its previous generation, yet they can all still reach a max stone temp of 950 °F (500 °C) and cook a pizza in just 60 seconds.

The serial number can be found on the rating plate, and also on a small sticker located on the base of the oven. It can also be found on the product's box.
