Ooni Warranty Terms & Conditions
We love our products at Ooni, and are proud of them - they’re built to last. Therefore, we offer you a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty of 1 year (our Standard Warranty Period) as standard on all Ooni products, other than the small number of products listed as ‘excluded products’ on this page.
Subject to the terms below, we’ll extend the period of our warranty on certain Ooni products when you register the product with us (our Extended Warranty Period).
Please refer to this page to see what products are eligible for an Extended Warranty Period (our Qualifying Products), and how long the Extended Warranty Period lasts for.
Terms
- You will be required to provide proof of purchase.
- The warranty is for residential or domestic use only.
- The warranty applies to the product, so you can gift your oven to a friend and they can have the benefit of the warranty for the remainder of the applicable warranty period. Remember though, proof of purchase is needed to claim on the warranty, so make sure you give your friend your proof of purchase when you gift the oven to them.
- Any replacement parts issued by Ooni are covered by the time remaining on the original warranty.
- If you have altered the products in any manner, the warranty is void.
- Our customer support team will try and troubleshoot any issues you may have, to try and solve your problem as fast as possible.
- The warranty is subject to you using the relevant product in accordance with the instruction manual, the essentials guide and any other advice we provide.
- To be eligible for an Extended Warranty Period, you must register your Qualifying Product online at ooni.com within 60 days of the date on which it was purchased.
What is covered?
- Our promise to you is that during the applicable warranty period, our product will be free from any material defects in materials and workmanship.
- In broad terms, subject to the noted exceptions, this means that if the defect stops you from using the product, we will fix it!
- Faulty component parts will be repaired or replaced.
- If the fault is integral to the functioning of the entire product, we will replace the whole product.
- We may ask you to return the existing product in this case, so that we can diagnose the issue.
What's not covered?
- Reasonable wear & tear
- Discoloration or heat tarnishing
- Surface rust
- Water damage
- Excessive exposure to salt air conditions, sea spray and humidity (such as on a yacht, you lucky baller, you...)
- Severe weather conditions and natural disasters
- User error
- Minor distortions or warping caused by prolonged exposure to heat, where such warping does not prevent use of the product
- Use of the product with incorrect fuels
- Use of the product outside the country of purchase
- Any improper use of the ovens
Which regions are covered?
- This warranty is limited to the country of purchase (for example, if you bought your product in Australia, this warranty will only apply in Australia - it will not apply if you take your Ooni product out of Australia).
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
If (and it's a big bad “IF” that we don’t think will happen!) you need to claim on the warranty, processing a claim is easy - visit our support page to submit a warranty claim, or contact us at support@ooni.com.
- A copy of your proof of purchase
- Your Ooni product’s serial number (see Find my serial number!)
- Photographs of the product fault
Please, therefore, keep your receipt, invoice or any other valid proof of purchase to make sure you can claim on the warranty if you ever need to.
You must also provide us with any information (including photographs/videos) on the fault product and give us such assistance as we may reasonably request to properly assess the products.
STATUTORY NOTICE & SOME OTHER LEGAL STUFF THAT WE APPARENTLY HAVE TO SAY!
- This warranty shall not affect your consumer or other statutory rights. In certain countries that we operate in, consumer law means that our goods come with guarantees when you purchase them from us. For example in Australia, under the Australian Consumer Law, if you are a customer of Ooni’s, Ooni’s goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Similar statutory protections apply in other countries that we operate in. The warranty described in these terms and conditions is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. It does not affect your statutory rights and in no way limits any statutory warranty that we are required to provide you under applicable law.
- In no event shall recovery under the warranty be for an amount greater than the original purchase price of the oven sold.
- We continually strive for improvement, and therefore, may from time to time change the design of our products. This warranty does not cover Ooni being obligated to include such design changes into previously manufactured products. Any such changes are made at Ooni’s discretion and cannot be construed as an admission that previous designs were defective.
- The Extended Warranty Period will commence on the date that the customer purchases their Qualifying Product and finish at the end of the ‘Extended warranty period’ specified on this page. For example, if your Qualifying Product says it has an ‘Extended warranty period’ of 5 years, the Extended Warranty Period will start on the date that you purchase Qualifying Product (or, where your product is gifted to you, the date on which the person who gave you the Qualifying Product purchased the product) and end on the date falling 5 years thereafter. Remember though you need to register your Qualifying Product with us to receive from an Extended Warranty Period.
- If the customer has not registered their Qualifying Product with us, the warranty is limited to the Standard Warranty Period of 1 year from the date on which they purchased the product. The warranty for non-Qualifying Products is the Standard Warranty Period from the date on which the product was purchased. In each case, subject to your statutory rights.
- We shall have no liability to you (whether the products are found to breach the applicable warranty or not) for the cost of removing any products returned to us under the above conditions or for re-installing any such products after they have been returned.
- If you give us notice in writing during the applicable warranty period within a reasonable amount of time following the discovery that the product does not comply with the applicable warranty as previously set out; and we are given a reasonable opportunity to examine the product and we determine that the product does not comply with the warranty as set out then we shall, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective product.
- In certain circumstances, at our discretion, we may decide to refund the price of the product based on the market value of the product at the time any refund was payable and would take into consideration any wear and tear as well as normal market depreciation.
- We reserve the right to require that faulty products be returned to us. In such circumstances we shall cover the cost of the return carriage by normal means within the shipping area to which we originally delivered the product (for example, if your product was original delivered to an address in the United States, we will cover the cost of shipping the product from your address in the United States back to us) and a replacement oven will be delivered free of charge by us to you at the address to which we originally delivered the product.
- If, following inspection of the returned product, we determine that, acting reasonably, there has been no breach in the warranty for the product as set out, we will return the product to you, at your cost, and require return to us of any replacement product that has been provided to you.
