Yes, a pizza peel is essential when using your Ooni oven. It allows you to safely launch your pizza onto the hot stone, as well as remove it once it’s cooked.

As an essential, you will need a peel that allows you to launch, turn, and retrieve your pizza, we recommend either a Pizza Peel or a Perforated Pizza Peel

If you want a more advanced peel that allows you to rotate your pizza inside the oven without removing the pizza, go for a Turning Peel.

Our Bamboo Peels double as both a serving board as well as a work surface for stretching out your dough before launching.
