

If you’re looking for an easy way to make excellent salmon, look no further than your Ooni oven. We like to keep it simple here, opting for just salt, pepper and lemon to season our fish.
A few key steps make this salmon a knockout–preheating your cast iron pan in the oven helps to make the skin golden and crisp. Adding olive oil directly to the salmon instead of the pan helps reduce flare-ups when cooking at high heat. And finally, roasting the lemons alongside your fish allows the fruit to release all of its juices and create a robust citrus flavor.
We like to pair this with a fennel salad, crispy potatoes or our roasted carrots with salsa verde, but feel free to get creative!
